@Purplecatsoup30 Well, if sombody who is hairy needs to improve his self-esteem, who told him before being hairy is something he has to be ashamed of? To me the problem seems to be more in his mind than in his body hair. In the end it is always a matter of taste and self-acceptance.
@Pryme8ELB Hmm, I’m not a native speaker and probably I don’t understand you right, but I am as hairy as that man in the movie and I feel blessed for my fur and not forsaken.
The problem is that society looks and laughs at you because you have hair on you chest and back. This was not the case until the late 70’s. I have done six laser treatment sessions on my back and chest. I would guess 60% has grown back over the past few years. The treatment is very painful. Numbing cream is recommended.
This is an advertisement. These places do not tell the whole truth. The treatments are painful and most of the hair will grow back. They are shocking the hair root and after the shock the hair will grow back. You have to shave the area before the treatment so before and after photos can be misleading. Make sure they test a small area before the procedure. If they don’t test walk out. Better to go to a real doctor than a clinic.
